African Grey Parrot
This is Mikey, our Congo African Grey parrot. He hates me. He loves my wife, kisses her, lets her cuddle him and if I come near, he stands ready to bite the crap out of me. He will only talk when no one is in the room. He calls my name and says hello when he thinks no one is around. He is learning to whistle the Mayberry song and he imitates every piece of electrical equipment that makes a noise.
When the other birds make what he considers too much noise, he tells them to shut up! I could go on and on about this magnificent creature, which I will do in future posts.
