BBC reports the rescue of a CAG from a lion enclosure.

The News-Herald, a Michigan paper carried a story about a parrot rescue.  Read the article.  It shows that there’s still some good in this world.

A post on Forums underscores the importance of platforms in your parrot cages.  It allows the parrot to stand with his feet flat, thus giving him a rest from the perch.  A photo is included.

I was fortunate enough to be able to wade through the instructions for placing a picture in my header.  I chose what to me is the gold standard of all parrots, the Congo African Grey, or cag, as their owners like to refer to them.  It is generally the best talker of all the species.
